Adoption update

We met with Bethany Christian Services to update our homestudy since we moved to a different state. We have more finger prints on file than most criminals. Paper work transition seems to be a slow process. Things are looking good to be complete in the next month or so. At this point birth mothers will be able to view our family profile. A baby by the end of the year is a strong possibility. God has been so faithful through it all. We have paid for our homestudy through His provision. We ask that you keep us in prayer that the financial needs to bring our baby home will be met. We know God will provide a way to accomplish that which He has called us to. There has never been a time where we need God more as individuals, a church, and a nation. Divorce rates are well over 50%, prayer is banned from our schools, our government has no regards for human life and morality. Revival has to start in our homes. I recently listened to a sermon from Moody institute. It was talking about Job as a father. It said he sacrificed offerings daily for his children because they could have sinned against God in their heart. He did not know this for a fact, the point is he was so concerned about the hearts of his children that this was the first thing he did in the morning. The Lord spoke to me through this. Our chidren need us to be concerned about them. They need our intercession. None of us are perfect parents. DL Moody's son siad the thing he remembers most is his father weeping and asking his forgiveness for a punishment that was given unjustly. I have been in that position more than once. I am so glad in our imperfection God grace abounds. Adelle and I desire for our kids to walk in the purpose God created them for. We believe this reflects the heart of our Father and we often miss it, but we strive to seek Him.
